The Diary - Part of the Ranch on the Tall Grass Prarie Series

The golden coyotes knew that the Tall Grass Prairie belonged to them, but they shared it with the people who lived in the tipi village, and later they shared their prairie with a girl who found a message that had been hidden for more than a century.

Ranch on the Tall Grass Prarie

This series, Ranch on the Tall Grass Prarie, is about the land located in the Oklahoma Panhandle, about the people who lived there, and about the animals that lived there with them. Each book begins with the lives of the first Americans and finishes with the Bradford Brothers Ranch, the "BB", and the modern family who occupy it. It covers education first taught by the old people of the tribe, and then by the Internet.

The world changes, people change, but the animals do not change.

The wolf still pursues the elk, the owl seeks out the snake, and the young people still have adventures on the wonderful animal called the horse. Even though new animals are added as the years pass, the emu, the llama, and the long-haired goats do not change. The habits of the black-footed ferret who lives on the bounty of the prairie dog town don't change, and the eagle is still strong enough to carry away a calf, if it can avoid the weapons of it's longhorn mother.
