About the Author:
Carol Foldvary-Anderson teaches art and creates art. She finds herself stretching her imagination
and talents within the realm of designing. Her creations can be seen in a wide variety of mediums
and forms.
Her creations range from coin size illustrations to large public art pieces. Carol has designed
Souvenir mugs for the San Francisco Bay area and her T-shirt designs are distributed
internationally. In 2001, a commissioned ornament was hung on the White House Christmas tree for
President and Mrs. Bush. Carol’s calligraphy rests under photos of the 73rd session of the Nevada
State Legislature. She received a Professional Artist Grant for her Gigantic Paper Sculptures and
also in 2001, Carol was honored as the Artist of the Year of Carson City, Nevada. This is Carol’s
first authored and illustrated book.
