New Feature: YouTube Videos
OCTOBER 30th 2012 | Learn how to add a YouTube video to your Author Page and see some great examples from authors who have already taken advantage of this fun new feature.
Each week we're adding new features that will help you promote your story and keep your page interesting for readers. This week we've added the ability to post videos from YouTube on your Author Page. This gives you the exciting opportunity to speak directly to your readers, and posting a YouTube video also means other people will get to know you and your story!
Fun Ideas
- Film an interview in which you answer questions about your story and yourself as a writer.
- Create a "story trailer" similar to a book trailer.
- Present yourself as an author in a video blog.
- Create a short commercial for your story.
Examples and Inspiration
See Simon & Schuster's book trailers for professional examples of book trailers.
