Cynthia

I am a single mother of a 12 year old girl. I have been working in the accounting industry for several years. However, after loosing my job to downsizing, I decided that this was the opportunity to chase my dream of being a writer. I have been writing most of my life, and love every form of linguistics. I have dabbled in poetry, as well as stories (both fiction and non). I am hoping that this will serve as an excellent way to find out if there is an audience that will enjoy what I like to write. Happy reading! I hope you enjoy this tale.

I'm sure many little girls wish they could have an experience such as the one described here: of course, I always knew that faeries lived in the woods behind my house. :) The one thing lacking in this story in terms of narrative structure is a conflict of some kind. There should be something that complicates the journey and forms a challenge. Keep writing! Please take a moment and read my story, "Dating Safari," and leave your comments.

This is a cute story for little girls that believe in Fairies and the whole world of magic. There were a lot of descriptive words that I liked and kept me hanging onto the story. I wanted something deeper and more creative but, again for a younger audience it could work. My story is "The Moccasins"

Sorry, I really didn't like the story, it didn't grab my attention. There are some errors in punctuation and sentence structure. If you get the time, would you read my story, 'Drift Away' and leave a review letting me know if you liked it?
