Debora J. McGill has been writing poetry and short stories since she was in high school. She is especially partial to writing lyrical poems. Besides Faith Journeys With Hope and Love and Lessons by the Lake, she has authored a lyrical poem book entitled Sweet Tweetin' Twitter. Her writing objective is to encourage faith in God and his love. She gained a deep appreciation for spectacular sunsets, waterfowl and wildlife while living on her family farm. When her children were young, she had an excuse to climb baled wheat straw stacks with them, catch grasshoppers, and swim in their pond. As a single mother of adult daughters, much of her current writing inspiration comes from enjoying the sights and sounds of nature in her neighborhood. She is a lifelong resident of Oregon, now living in the beautiful city of Keizer, Oregon. When not writing, she enjoys taking walks with her dog, Addi,and visiting with her daughters and other family members, neighbors, and friends. Her other interests include Bible studies, fishing, ATV, bicycle and horseback riding.
