Francis Hamit eBooks

Francis Hamit has been a professional writer for more than 40 years. Best known as a trade magazine journalist, he decided to concentrate on fiction and drama a few years ago and began work on his "first" novel "The Shenandoah Spy" which was published by Brass Cannon Books in 2008. Brass Cannon Books is owned by Hamit and his editor for almost 20 years, Leigh Strother-Vien. She also designed the cover for "Buying Retail" when it was republished online in 2004. In 2005, Hamit's stage play, "Memorial Day" was showcased at the Masquers Playhouse in Richmond, California.

Hamit's other works include the non-fiction book (1993) "Virtual Reality and the Exploration of Cyberspace" and the stage play (1988) MARLOWE: An Elizabethan Tragedy. He is a contributor to the Self Publishing Review blog started by Henry Baum.

He is also a graduate of the Iowa Writers Workshop and served in the US Army Security Agency during the Vietnam War. His other credits include hundreds of magazine and newspaper articles, reviews, essays, and blog entries and "The Fight For Copyright" blog. He was a contributor to the Amazon Shorts program.
