Gregory Marshall Smith eBooks
Gregory Marshall Smith was born in Somerville, Massachusetts and raised in historic Medford, Massachusetts (the seventh oldest town in America). He is a self-described jack-of-all-trades, having been a a navy engineer officer, navy civil engineer, helicopter control officer, columnist, sports editor, sports writer, feature writer, freelancer, asset protection agent, training coordinator, safety specialist, training instructor and videographer, among other things.
Smith has been writing since he was nine years old and started watching old science fiction monster movies on television. His major influences include Creature Double Feature, Octavia Butler, Samuel Delaney, George Schuyler (a distant relative), Stephen King, Robert Heinlein, L. Ron Hubbard, Isaac Asimov and Philippa Duke Schuyler (a cousin).
Smith's goal is write entertaining science fiction and horror and create situations where black people actually make it to the end.
