James Lowrance has experience in health writing that began in 2004. He completed theological studies with Liberty University in 1996 and has been involved in Christian ministries since 1983. He formerly served as editor and forum moderator of Thyroid Health for a major multi-topic content website and as a general health writer for another, where he received Editor's Choice Awards for articles on health subjects. During the 1990s, James invented and patented outdoors sports products, getting them placed into major retail outlets, including Wal-Mart and Bass Pro Shops. His most accomplished invention called “The Rod Floater” (a life jacket for fishing rod combos), was licensed to a major fishing tackle conglomerate in 1996. James was featured in the May 2001 issue of Inventors digest magazine. He now enjoys writing about his invention marketing experience but the subjects of most interest for him are thyroid diseases, disorders of autoimmunity and other major health problems affecting the general population.
