Kay Hooper eBooks
Kay Hooper is an American author of suspense and romance novels. Born in 1958, she grew up in North Carolina. She began studying business, but found she was more interested in history and literature.
Hooper began writing her first novel while at college. That book, Lady Thief, was published in 1981. The following year, she published three additional novels, Mask of Passion, Return Engagement, and Breathless Surrender. Many of her early books have also been rereleased since 2004.
Hooper’s books have been New York Times best sellers, and she has a devoted fan base. To date, she has written over 60 novels. She continues to publish multiple titles each year.
Her popular Bishop/Special Crimes Unit series has included four trilogies. The first three books, the Shadows trilogy, were all published in 2000. It was followed by the Evil trilogy, published between 2001 and 2003, the Fear trilogy, published between 2004 and 2006, and the Blood trilogy, published between 2007 and 2010.
Hooper’s 2012 novel, Haven, continues the Bishop/Special Crimes Unit series. She has said she is working on additional titles for the series, as well. She also has a related series, The Bishop Files, which will begin with The First Prophet, scheduled for publication in late 2012.
Some of her earlier books formed The Hagen Series. This eleven book series began in 1987 with the publication of In Serena’s Web, Raven on the Wing, Rafferty’s Wife, and Zach’s Law. It was completed in 1989 with Aces High.
