Steve Berry eBooks
Steve Berry is an American author of historical thrillers. He was born in 1955 in Georgia, and currently lives in Florida. He graduated from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law and worked as a trail lawyer for thirty years.
Berry’s first novel was The Amber Room, published in 2003, though he had been producing manuscripts since 1990. The novel focused on the disappearance of the Amber Room from the Catherine Palace at the end of World War II, and combined a contemporary thriller with historical events.
His second novel, The Romanov Prophecy, was published in 2004, and his third, The Third Secret, was published in 2005. Both of these novels, as The Amber Room before them, utilized historical facts as the backdrop for thriller plots. His first three novels were all best sellers, with The Third Secret debuting on the New York Times best seller list.
In 2006, Berry launched his Cotton Malone series of novels with The Templar Legacy. This was followed in 2007 by The Alexandria Ling and The Venetian Betrayal. The seven-novel series concluded with 2011’s The Jefferson Key.
Between 2010 and 2012, Berry released three short stories as eBooks. Each of these stories featured characters from the Cotton Malone series and served as prequels to three of the novels. The Admiral’s Mark, the last of the stories, was called ‘A Cotton Malone Adventure’, further connecting the books to the main series.
In 2009, Berry and his wife created History Matters, a foundation for historic preservation.
