Winston S. Churchill eBooks

Sir Winston Leonard Spencer-Churchill was Prime Minister of the UK during World War II. His inspiring oratory, dauntless courage, and incorrigible strength of character lifted a despondent Britain out of the darkness of despair into the broad, sunlit uplands of victory and liberty. He was also a painter and a Nobel Laureate in Literature. He was fond of Pol Roger champagne and entertained a high esteem of Cuban cigars. He refused to be made Duke of London, and remained a commoner through life. Literary works by Sir Winston are credited to 'Winston S. Churchill', to prevent confusion with the American author of the same name. He wrote for several newspapers, and authored one novel, 'Savrola'. Sir Winston served as a soldier in India, the Sudan, the Second Boer War, and World War I (commanding the 6th Battalion of the Royal Scots Fusiliers). While Sir Winston's racial opinions are not in alignment with modern sensibilities, none can blame him of being of one mind and speaking another.
