The
Cabin on the Bluff
Carie
was never one to leave a job unfinished, and though
her body had long since been committed to the ground,
she was unable to leave the site of her cabin. There
seemed to be something left that she must do before
she could join her husband and sons. A tender, though
unbreakable, tie still tethered her spirit to the
cabin where Zeb had brought her as a bride. At the end
of life, that which is unimportant falls away, like
tree leaves in the fall, but that grain of truth that
is left must be passed along, or what was that life
worth?
The Cabin on the Bluff was published by eBookMall and
can be purchased in four of our most popular formats:

Happenings
in River Bend
A
small town developed along the banks of the river
where the caught between Rock Mountain and a deposit
of volcanic stone. Residential cabins were build along
the river banks, and later were sprinkled about the
mountains on either side. The central focus points of
the town were the church, and its weekly gathering of
ladies who met under the guise of 'quilting', the
livery stable, where every man could feel welcome, and
perhaps pick up a scrap of information (not gossip!)
before the ladies did, and the other focus was the
school.
