Printing
Each eBook publisher sets printing restrictions for their eBooks. Some allow full printing, some allow partial printing, and some disable the printing ability altogether. It is safest to assume that the eBook will not be printable.
Copy and Paste
Each eBook publisher chooses whether they will allow the copy and paste functions in their eBooks. It is safest to assume that it is not available.
Downloads
Most publishers of Adobe Reader PDF eBooks have chosen to only allow ONE download. You can make a backup copy by clicking the "Save a Copy" button when you download your eBook. You can make as many backup copies as you wish.
Transferring to Additional Computers/Devices
- Adobe Reader PDF eBooks are transferable to Palm PDAs by Activating each device with the same Passport account.
- Palm Users: This secure Adobe Reader eBook will check for information on your computer to verify that you are the person who purchased it. So, even if you're only planning on reading your eBook on your Palm, Adobe requires that you install Adobe Reader 6.0+ on your computer first.
- Adobe Reader eBooks can NOT be transferred to another computer by means of email or disk. They can be re-downloaded to an additional computer by first Activating each computer with the same Passport account.
