What does one do when the civilization one is part of is about to come to a cataclysmic end? If one is like Atu, then one sets sail for distant lands to start a new civilization.

Born in Atlantis, Atu was one of a group of civilization pioneers who left Atlantis before the cataclysm and sailed to a land that is now known as Central America. The prophets said this land would survive the cataclysm.

Atu had gained his position in the group of pioneers because of his ability to psychicly read the tablets the group brought with them from Atlantis. The tablets can only be read psychicly and were intended to be buried and not found until the very end of the age, over twelve thousand years later.

This is the story of Atu's civilization building efforts, but it is mostly about what happens to Atu in the last two weeks of his life. It is during this time that he begins having future-life visions. For two weeks, Atu journeyed from one future life to another, each time visiting a different future incarnation of himself. He sees snippets of the next twelve thousand years of history, both the planet's history and his own. He sees how both himself and humankind evolve in their journey through this physical reality.

At the end of that journey--at the end of the age--he comes upon a future incarnation of his that is a shopkeeper in contemporary western America. He realizes that he must get the knowledge of the tablets through to that future self.

Atu's mission involved keeping alive knowledge through over twelve thousand years of future incarnations and keeping alive the ability to retrieve that information. If the shopkeeper in America could not "remember" then the mission was in jeopardy. As death grew nearer with each passing day, Atu went journeying through time and space on his mission of hope for humankind. The information, when ready over twelve thousand years later, would enable humans to fully rejuvenate and take their bodies into a new dimensional vibration.

Rejuvenation is the first book in a series of three books called The Rejuvenation Series. All three books relate to the many lives of Atu and all those soul-mates who shared lives with him. It's a story of both Atu's and humankind's journey into denseness and back out. Through the three books, the memories are distilled and the process for an age-old rejuvenation process is extracted--at least that is what the characters are hoping happens
