A Touching Love Story

This is just one of several novels by Tom Milton, all sent in the same time period and describing a individuals struggle to survive and cope in a horrible time in history. "A Shower of Roses" explores the life of Eva, a nurse who is living in Poland when it is trying to gain independence from the USSR. The love story between Eva and Marek is truly heart warming and beautiful. Tom Milton does a great job of portraying the lives of the characters down to the finest details and makes their relationships seem completely believable. I love the way he writes, there is no ego or pretentiousness. I would suggest you read this along with all the other books in the series.
