All the Pretty Girls

I'm a huge supporter of the Ellison Taylor Jackson series. Taylor Jackson is not your archetypical Southern Belle. A lady originating from a wealthy family, she chose the existence of a police officer over that of a fortunate soccer mom. She is well educated, smart and tough physically and mentally, but her just one weak point is Baldwin. Taylor and Baldwin can be a successful combination and their personas enhance each other. Other character types are effectively developed, as is also the chemistry between Taylor and Baldwin. The story moves at a fast pace, with gut wrenching suspense and lots of action. Ellison’s intelligent writing places this particular one aside from other thriller series and will certainly gather an array of fans keen on the next book. Although each and every Taylor Jackson book stands on it's own being an enjoyable crime murder thriller.

This is the first book in the Taylor Jackson series. It's a mystery with romance and lots of suspense. The plot moves along pretty quickly and really makes you want to keep reading. I have read other reviews that said it was too predictable but I didn't find that to be the case.
