The idea for this book, came from, one of the many conversations about my life, which I had, had when I first went into Re-hab... As most people know, when you first go in for treatment, the Doctors, you're Key-workers & Nurses etc... attempt to probe your head, so as to make an assessment of you in order to give you a diagnosis, which is supposed to be half way onto the road to curing oneself, all be it by later taking prescribed Drugs, whilst you sit around drying out...
So one conversation led on to this... this led to that... & back to this, were it soon became obvious to me, that fighting in one way or the other had always been part of my physical & now mental make-up & that when you're young, the physical side is more often or not were, you can falsely believe that the best way to sort out a dispute is to use your fist, where as when you get older, the simple fact, that you are not using your fist, does not make you less of a fighter..
As life is one big long, mental fight... If it's to hold down a job, dealing with girlfriend /boyfriend relationships & of course marriage, children to cloth & feed bills to pay, houses to be kept & maintained. Most of these things (and probably a lot more depending who you are & what you do) are all experiences you have to fight to remain on top of the given situation.
Some are material things you have to fight for, but whoever you are, whatever you do & if I can say it 'rich or poor' we all have immediate family were we fight to maintain life-long bonds...

So When it came to the challenge of writing in the form of a Book, Clinton felt his first efforts, should be based around his life, Thoughts & the so called High & Lows that Life has brought so far... But read on, as it is not just based in the world of music...
