Cats that bite, cats that won't eat, cats that won't stop eating. Cat expert Celia Haddon has seen it all, and, in Cats Behaving Badly, an essential guide to cat behavior, she teaches readers how to turn even the grumpiest cat into a perfectly lovable animal. One of today’s foremost feline experts, Haddon provides practical solutions to a myriad of perplexing situations that only cats can dream up. Why does a cat suddenly stop using the litter box? Can an aloof kitty turn into an affectionate, cuddly cat? Is expensive cat food really worth it? The author unravels the mysteries of cat behavior and dispenses easy, affordable, and animal-friendly solutions to help both cats and their owners live happier lives. From kittens to senior cats, Haddon explains feline behavior that has puzzled cat owners for decades, including true-life and humorous cat tales that help illustrate her advice. This charming and informative book is essential reading for anyone who has ever asked, “Why in the world does my cat do that?”

So Helpful

The problem with kittens is that they are cute balls of fluff. And you can't see through it to notice the mischievous glint in their eye, until they are no longer a cute ball of fluff, and instead are eight times the size they were and strutting around like they own the house. If you're lucky and your cat is one of the laid-back pleasant ones then all well and goo. Mine, however, looked like it should have had the swivel chair with a Bond villain curled up on the arm rest - never mind the other way around. Where you might look at this book and think it is a gimmicky addition to the slew of cat paraphernalia that is always the first port of call for cat-lovers' birthday presents, think again! This book has been so helpful in understanding my cat better, bringing her down a peg or two and redressing the balance of power in our house. This book is like super nanny for cats and every cat owner should have a copy!
