Getting Sassy

Robyn is an honest woman who mis-invests $50,000 with a conman. Now she is responsible for caring for her mother who has dementia, and she no longer has the money to keep her in the first-class care home she is currently in. Through an aquaintance she has the chance of revenge and comes up with a plan to extort the money back. This is a really moving story and the characters are well-constructed and likeable. You feel Robyn's distress and her powerlessness as her mother's condition deteriorates which is all you need to get on side with her scheme. It is well-written and, in my opinion, original.
