Of German ancestry William T. Greuber was born in Ohio during the year 1825. His was truly part of a “frontier family” who carved out a living in the forests of North America. By definition the American frontier in 1825 is distinguished as an area containing not less than two, nor more than six inhabitants to the square mile. Four generations of the Greuber family, stretching from the year 1825 to 1983, are referenced in this history. They lived in the Ohio and Michigan territories, as they became states. There are unique ancestral photographs and many referenced documents in this publication. Truly this is a treasure for any member of the Greuber family or the family historian as they endeavor to reach further into the past.
