Try Something Different

I had always overlooked succulents but the front cover of this book really caught my eye. It is full of beautiful photographs of cacti and succulents which has really whet my appetite to try something different in the garden. It has really changed my opinion of them: I always thought they were cold, bland spiky things, but there are some really wonderful blooms. I have my list of names now and I will see which I can find down at the garden centre. It is an added bonus for me, as I'm not much of a gardener, that these are hardy and perennial - this book could have been written just for me!
