The time is the near future. Three disgruntled scientists and a lucky man set out to create an artificial satellite, much like a new Moon, and send it out into space. But, in the big picture, life, as we know it, is but one prong in a fork called Destiny. It is a road we must follow. And the road's name is Earth. At least that is the way that John Kennedy Lean looked at his life once it had ended. Using a laptop computer mysteriously given to him as he crossed from "Life, the play" into "my own destiny" (which is what he called his afterlife and what seemed to be his final destination.). John writes down and ponders the events that placed him and his lover, Lina Luna, on what became the highest point on Earth: Miami Beach. But John's life was ruled by luck. And luck is like the wind, whose direction can change without previous notice. Having tried and failed, and now living on their own, John and Lina must face the consequences of monogamy and an easy life.
