This book makes a lot of sense!

I love this book and its all-embracing principle that that there are several types of intelligence. It supports what teachers and parents have long suspected: that each child has a different way of learning, and no particular way is right or wrong. Reading this from a parent's perspective, I found it truly fascinating. I always understood my son learned better by being hands-on as he virtually taught himself to read by playing with foam letters, and copying the titles of his favourite stories or TV shows. With this book I was able to identify him quickly as a kinesthetic learner. Now, when we are doing our fun little bits of extra-curricular learning, I know how to structure activities for him so that he can engage easily and get the most out of it.
