This photo album show cases the two beautiful cities of Ottawa-Hull, Canada, during the incredibly fun Ottawa Winterlude Festival. These two cities have much to offer the active and enthusiastic tourist. There are many interesting places that one can go walking and exploring to discover the unique and wonderful architecture. Of course the feature highlight of the Winterlude Festival is the Ottawa Rideau Canal Skateway which is the longest skating rink in the world at 7.8km long. After Ottawa's very fun Winterlude Festival is over (Feb 2 - 18) the skating fun continues until the ice begins to melt in mid March. Following a skating tour of Ottawa on the Rideau Canal Skateway it is off to Orleans to visit the Place d'Orleans Mall. Place d'Orleans is one of Ottawa's newest malls and it is just beautiful inside. Escaping the cold winter temperatures one could spend hours inside the mall window shopping and purchasing irresistible treasures. One treasure in the Place d'Orleans Mall is high energy dance music. It can be found in the music store called HMV. HMV is simply the best music store in North America. I will travel all the way from California just to shop here. So let me take you for a tour of Ottawa-Hull and then shopping at Place d'Orleans. After our tour, I hope that you will come and enjoy Ottawa's very fun Winterlude Festival. The greatest winter festival in the world and go ice skating on the longest ice rink in the world the Ottawa's Rideau Canal Skateway at 7.8km (5 miles) long!
