As we enter the Third Millennium AD, the signs are that the coming age of the Internet will cause the Establishments of Christendom to lose authority as individual Christians become a global community with direct access to a global pool of knowledge. For too long Christian theology has been in thrall to pre-Christian Judaic thinking. We need to pay more attention to the contribution of Christian individuals to the evolution of Christ's Mystical Body over the past 2000 years. They like we are members of that Body. Whereas we are still time-bound members of the earthly part of that Body, they are members of its spiritual extension in the timeless state of heaven. This book indicates how we need through prayer to build up a sense of community with all, who are alive in Christ whether in this world or the next.
