Not one of my favorites!

I like most of Nora Roberts' books - I've read a ton of them. But I didn't enjoy the characters in this one. Shane seemed very egotistical and like your typical male who objectifies women, and that's not the kind of person I want to be around or read about. Adding to that was the woman who fell for him anyway, which just shows guys like this that they can get away with their bad behavior.
