Ivy Ling Lyden is a great author and English teacher. She developed her own system of teaching this language successfully, no matter if it is the first or second language of the child. She uses some psychological techniques based on motivation to keep the toddler interested in learning more. The lessons are easy in the beginning after which the complexity is at a higher level. It's a very useful book for English teachers, but also for parents.
