Well-written.

Claiborne is responsible for a revolution in the way we eat food. Thanks to his perspective eating was not just a means to an end. To make a nation's mouth water, open their palates to diverse cuisines and get people back into the kitchen and trying to make things for themselves is a lifetime's achievement. Thomas McNamee does a great job of telling us all about the man and what he did for food in his own unique and chatty style that made this book a pleasure to read.
