Which is scarier: tracking down bad guys or trying to finish and publish a book?

"Easily meeting a deadline for a book. Experience has taught me to be comfortable in police work but publishing is still new to me. There is a clear line between the art of writing and the business of publishing. Deadlines are terrifying and editors can be quite demanding. Overall I enjoyed both experiences."
