The Bible states in John 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." What is the truth about Christmas? Is it nothing more than a pagan (non-Christian) ritual and too commercialized (exploited for profit)? Should we celebrate it? Does the Bible say anything at all about this holiday?
In his book The Truth About Christmas, Clarence answers these and other questions such as Was Jesus born on December 25th? Why was he born in a smelly stable and not some place else? Were there really three wise men that came to the stable to worship the baby Jesus? Were these men actually led by a star to Bethlehem or were they led by some other sign? Is it wrong to give gifts? Should we have decorated trees in our homes? What about outdoor decorations? and so on.
