"I admit I’ve always had a love affair with vampires. And no, I’m not talking about the sparkly kind, more the tortured soul types you might find in the works of Laurel K. Hamilton. I’m always intrigued by the inevitable struggle between humanity and the beast, between their dark instincts and doing what’s right. It makes for a deep and interesting character."
