Angel Mountain Summary

Angel Mountain is an inspirational romantic adventure about forty people who survive when their plane is forced to land on a mountaintop completely surrounded by ravines in the lower Bernese Alps of Switzerland. Their struggle and determination to live is a tribute to human endurance under perilous odds, and inspirational to those who believe in a Supreme Being. Their ages range from a baby born on Angel Mountain to a feisty old Jewish woman. They strive to survive adversity and find a way down the mountain. A romance blossoms between the two main characters: Angela, the narrator of the story, and her employer, Dr. James A. Daniels. But the true hero of the story is Jock Ludviken, a strong, lovable skier and mountain climbers whose charm is enhanced by his Swedish dialect and comical innocence of the English language. Fasten your seatbelts for a fantastic ride to Angel Mountain.
