Cloudsmen Summary
| All is well, or so young Frank Weston thinks. The move to Florida from California's Catalina Island did not prepare him for the turmoil to come. Yet, in his decisiveness, he manages to be close to his parent's friends. No one could have told him that was coming would literally send chills through his veins. His parents perish in a plane crash, his parent's friends are missing, and the three children he's sworn to protect have suddenly become the target of creatures he could never have imagined. Creatures made of cloud stuff, called Cloudsmen, have decided to take them all into their world within the clouds. Only Frank taken by force to the side of those destined to destroy the world and its populace, the Rainsmen. In a desperate battle, the children (Karen and her twin brother's, Troy and Billy) are swept up by Crossblast and Stormheat upon the request of their mother--who has come to see that her children are fine, yet she discovers that she has been followed. Upon shifting their metabolic cell structure, the children find fun in their newly replenished bodies that can shift shapes. In the meantime the forces of evil push the envelope of the Earth's boundaries in order to shift the polarity and send the planet into chaos. What none of them realize is that something more sinister is brewing. When they discover what it is, all hell breaks loose and these creatures made of clouds must fight for life on Earth. |
