His Father's Glory Summary

It was the, "Meeting-Of-The-Lords," and the most epic confrontation the world had ever known. No explosions or catastrophic destruction, rather the subtle scheming of the Prince of Demons as he tempts the weak and hungry Lord to mistrust the Goodness, Holiness and Faithfulness of his Heavenly Father. The entire world was at stake!

His Father's Glory is a fictional tale. Told in the form of a dream, it follows an Angel and a Demon who are the official witnesses of the wilderness encounter of Christ and his tempter, the Devil. The noble, stouthearted Angel disputes with his huge and menacing counterpart about the meaning of the temptations brought forth by the demon's master. The lively exchange between them brings to light the true nature of the three temptations of Christ. But there is friction in the demon's ranks, and their discipline begins to break down with each success of the Lord in resisting the Devil's deceit.

The dream abruptly transports the reader to the beginning of time and the garden home of Eve where she is engaged in a conversation with a wise and docile creature she simply calls, "serpent". Here, where the first epic battle for control of Earth began, she valiantly resists her inexperienced tempter. In the end, however, she finally succumbs to his subtle scheme.

The story dramatically concludes on a mountain peak where the Devil and Damien, his greatest captain, are soundly defeated by a trusting and faithful Lord who wins the victory by unveiling Satan's deceptions.
