| The Inescapable Reality describes the narrator's experiences when he finds himself as a terrified new member of an un-named establishment, seen through the conversations he has with the other people he encounters there. At first it seems that he is unable to get on with anyone he meets and his confusions grow. The he meets Suicide. Has he met his match? More worryingly, does suicide even exist or is it a manifestation of the dark side of his own character, his alter-ego? Eventually he meets Felicity and it is she who discloses his short - comings and starts him on his personal journey of self-discovery.
