Phineas Redux Summary
| Phineas Finn lives quietly in Dublin, resigned to the fact that his political career is over and coming to terms with the death of his wife, Mary, who has died in childbirth. His life takes another turn, when he returns to parliament. Where old romances and rivalries are renewed. He becomes infatuated with Lady Laura Kennedy and Madame Mary Goesler. One of whom he marries. Also, Finn is falsely accused of the murder when his adversary, Mr. Bonteen, is murdered. Phineas Redux is the fourth novel in Trollope's Palliser series.
