| A Stanford University Lab is robbed of a microbe used in a secret USA government funded research project. The microbes are contaminated and produce flesh eating disease among those using heroin from the Mexican poppy crop. The disease spreads through the major cities of America where heroin use is most prevelent. A team of scientist travel to Mexico to unravel the plot. The man most likely to unravel the mystery is stricken by possession. In his seearch for freedom he uncovers twelves reasons for his dementia, none of which explain the secret experimentation that he has undergone unbeknowns by the hand of his enemy.
