From the most powerful observatories that exist within their vast solar system, which consists of sixteen inhabited planets revolving around three stars, the Third Planet is about 25 light years away and almost impossible to detect by the Superace that lives there. But an enterprising young scientist accidentally rediscovers this New World that is far beyond the frontiers of her own star system and begins to investigate her find. She becomes convinced that she's found a young virgin planet that appears to be teaming with living creatures that are ruled by the Laws of Nature. At the same time, her own advanced race, which had long ago wiped out the aging process, as well as pain, disease, crime, starvation, overpopulation and all of the rest of the social ills that had once plagued their society, has a cancer spreading out of control that is secretly gaining more and more power. Unknown to the general population, the Supreme One, who is the undisputed ruler of their star system by virtue of advanced telekinetic powers, has turned to the dark side. He has decided to make himself immortal, and he knows that even the Almighty can't force him to spiritually transcend. And to make matters worse, because of his absolute authority over the breeding processes, he can easily see to it that no challengers to his authority are ever born. Add in the vast advantages of absolute control over the Supreme Utopiat, as well as the collective knowledge of the past that lies inside the walls of the Palace of Visions and it is quite easy to imagine the unthinkable. Could this Superace that has been ruled by the Laws of Civilization for so many millions of years be brought to it's knees by a tyrant? The crucial power struggle that was about to take place would have deep implications for not only the survival of the mortal world, but also, the perpetual spiritual war between good versus evil. Out of the chaos of the impending battle, while many of the laws of the universe would be forever broken, a New World would be born. |
