FAQs
about HTML eBooks |
Q:
What is an HTML eBook?
A: An eBook that is very similar to a long web page. You read
them in your web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape, but
the eBook is stored on your computer instead of the internet.
Q: Do I need any
extra software?
A: All you need to read HTML eBooks is a browser, like
Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. One of these is most
likely already on your computer.
Q: Can I read HTML eBooks on
my PDA?
A: Most PDAs require an extra reader to read HTML eBooks. We
recommend Mobipocket Reader (see eBook Reader Software below.)
Q: Do I have to be connected
to the Internet in order to read HTML eBooks?
A: No. Once you've purchased and downloaded your eBook, you
can open it in your browser any time - even when you're not
connected to the Internet. Just double click on the icon.
Q: Are there any pictures in
HTML eBooks?
A: No.
Q: Can I change the font size?
A: Yes, you can change the font settings that your browser
uses. However, this will affect how your browser displays web
pages on the Internet. To change the font size, go to View
> Font Size, and select the size you'd like.
