What is the best writing advice you've ever heard?
The best advice I ever got,was to write it First. And then do the rewrites,to make sure it is perfect.
When you start a new story do you prepare an outline in advance or do you just jump right in?
I prepare an outline, with how the story will begin and end.But I may get creative and add in things,I didn't expect to add in.
How do you deal with writing criticism, apart from just ignoring it?
I try to learn from criticism

I'm sorry, but your story is really hard to read. There should be a couple of spaces after a period at the end of a sentence. Don't take this the wrong way,you also need to work on your story structure and tenses. In the second sentence you use the word lied (this means someone didn't tell the truth). You should use the word lay. I also noticed that you keep repeating the same words over a lot in your sentences. This pulls your reader out of the story. If you do a quick rewrite, they will swap it out for you. I hope this helps a little. Keep writing!
