I think if you interspersed the exposition in the first half of the story in between the dialogue in the second half, both halves would flow better. It's a fascinating story, and I think if you rearranged the order of your narrative a little, it would be much more gripping. Please take a moment to read my story, "Dating Safari," and share your comments.

I really enjoyed this story... It engages the imagination and the ending is completely unexpected. Well done! Brilliant read!

This story was interesting and the ending was a surprise. I think that your story would have benefited from more dialogue in the beginning. The descriptions were very helpful in drawing me into your make believe world. As you expected, there were some errors in the text, reading the story outloud to yourself would help you catch some of the mistakes. Please read my story, 'Drift Away' and write a review to let me know what you thought of it.
